Winter engagement Photos on Newbury Street

an Iconic winter vibe in an iconic winter city. Back Bay Engagement Pictures, classic winter in New England.

Winter in Boston, perhaps the longest of the seasons- at least it feels that way to moi. But sometimes you have to layer all of the snow gear on, stuff your pockets with those pocket warmers, and go play in the snow! This post is both to motivate a few of you snow loving people into walking around in the twinkle lights on Commonwealth Ave, and to remind me about how fun it can be. I have such a love hate relationship with Boston winters. The magic of December snow and the exhaustion of March snow somehow blend together more and more each year. Although I do my fair share of winter studio sessions, walking around the adorable streets of Boston’s gorgeous Back Bay neighborhood just hums with a little winter excitement. Boston classically decorates each tree down Commonwealth Ave, and knows better than ripping them down right after New Years. We New Englanders need a little twinkle to keep us moving forward towards spring, a little glittery reminder that we will eventually be complaining about the heat.

Not the longest blog post today, but just a little reminder for us all. Winter is adorable. Even more adorable are the twinkle lights lining Commonwealth Ave. Even more adorable is the amazingly gorgeous Lenox Hotel and the then City Bar Boston (now The Irving at the Lenox Hotel) letting us snuggle in after freezing out buns off for some cocktails and cake. Happy winter, friends.
