I’m Amanda- owner of A Little Heart Photography. I am a New England based wedding photographer specializing in portraits full of color, love, and life. I am a documentary style wedding photographer who’s couples prioritize:
True to life colors in their portraits. I always tell my couples that if the sky is blue on their wedding day the sky will be blue in their portraits. You spend all of this time cultivating a color palate, and I want you to look back at your photos and see your hard work reflected in your wedding album. No weird filters, no muted tones, just nature in all of its beauty.
A personalized and unique experience. I am not a wedding factory. I am not someone who does three weddings in a weekend, I rarely do back to back days. I want your experience to be unique and special to you as a couple. I want to focus on curating a true one of a kind experience on your wedding day and part of that is being fresh on my toes to capture each second.
Candid moments and curated portraits. My couples prioritize having amazing portraits that feel full of life and movement. They want to look back at their wedding albums and see friends and family laughing and having fun. They want portraits that don’t feel stiff and dated, but instead full of genuine laughter and real emotions.
My Story
is full of love and adventure. I have been holding a camera since I was a wee little person. My childhood closet is stashed with thousands of photos that I have taken through the years. I love art in all forms, but there is just something about a portrait that makes my heart so happy. I am based out of Merrimac, MA- a tiny little blip of a town about 40 minutes north of Boston where I live with my husband, two little kids, and a giant goofy golden named Smalls. My husband and I met at work- a total Jim and Pam love story (iykyk) that culminated with a move to Maui when we finally got together. The love and support of my family drives me and I think that is deeply reflected in all of my work.

is your own unique experience as a couple. It is all encompassing and the most exciting time in anyones life. Finding each other and choosing each other begins the best adventure. Capturing a day where everyone you hold near and dear to you in one room is an incredible privilege. My couples value portraits full of love and emotion and vibrant true to life colors. They want the little in-between moments captured. The smiles and hugs exchanged with loved ones, the crazy uncle ripping it up on the dance floor, and being surrounded by all of the people they adore. My job as a wedding photographer is to not only capture the big moments, but all of those little moments happening around you on your wedding day. We work together to make you feel comfortable in front of my lens so when your day is here we are as relaxed as possible and we capture portraits that feel vibrant and full of life.
LET’S TALK INVESTMENT
All of my wedding packages include a gallery of hand edited high resolution digital images presented to you in an online gallery that is easy to share with friends and family. Images are formatted twice, once for social media sharing and once in larger files to print. In addition, you can share your album with all of your friends and family with unlimited downloads.
Images are not watermarked and a print release is included with your contract.

Second Photographer
Second photographers can be added to any wedding day package at $100 per hour. I have a six hour minimum for second shooters- which typically will get you from getting ready through to introductions.
Eight hours of a second photographer is included with my 10 hour package.
Albums
Albums can be added (or purchased as a gift) for any package starting at $400 for a 10 page 8x10. Parent albums (which are tiny replications of your album) start at $250 and are a great thank you gift for parents!
Albums are included for 10 hour packages.
Film
Film! New for the 2027 season. Add a full day of film (including prints) on to any wedding day for $800.

For events over 2.5 hours away from 01860, a stipend to cover a night hotel stay is required. Anything in the 4-5 hour range entails a two night stay.

Absolutely yes! I have a group of wonderful photographers who I regularly work with. Second shooters can be added to any package at the rate of $100 per hour with a six hour minimum for booking. A second shooter for eight hours is included in every 10+ hour package. All editing for seconds is done by me.

Absolutely not! This is a great question that should be asked to all photographers. I take my time editing your portraits as I feel like this is really important. I want to provide my couples with the best product possible and using AI to do all of my editing feels irresponsible and very unpredictable.

In 2025 every single couple who booked a 7 hour wedding day ended up adding at least one extra hour on to their wedding day as we got close to finalizing everyone’s timelines. The last thing we want to feel is rushed going into your wedding day, 8 hours is the sweet spot.

Yes, of course! Your portraits include a print release, meaning you can print your photos anywhere you’d choose. Your gallery will be connected to my print company that I personally use, but you are under no obligation to use it! Just promise me you won’t take them to CVS! Ha.

While I would never force anyone to take engagement portraits, they are a great way to break the ice and get to know each other before your wedding date. In addition, these sessions are complementary and always so much fun.

Absofreakinglutely I do! Not only do I post tons of fun sneaks after your wedding, but I pop them into a gallery for you to download a week after your big day.

Gallery delivery is typically within 90 days after your wedding date, not including any vacation (or sick) time that might pop up! I hand edit each portrait and genuinely take my time making sure your gallery is absolutely perfect.
Rush Fees: $750 for one month turn around.

"If I could rate Amanda higher than 5 stars I would. My husband and I got married this September. Sadly it turned out to be the only rainy day in the whole month of September. We had planned for wedding portraits with the ocean as a backdrop and then a boat entrance to our reception. We had to hard pivot when we pulled up to the ocean and it was basically a hurricane. Amanda didn't even flinch. Not only did she reassure us that everything would be fine, she made sure we got on that boat. Even though she was soaking wet, she managed to capture some of the most gorgeous pictures I have ever seen. We can't thank her enough for the heart and soul she put into every picture. She captured every moment of our wedding day and we will never forget it."

I haven’t even seen all my photos yet, but I don’t need to, to write this. Amanda is the absolute best. Obviously her photos are stunning but she’s so much more than that. They day of the wedding she is everything, acts as a second coordinator, keeping the time, making sure we have everything (flowers, the rings, literally everything) and in my delusion not having prepared any umbrellas, she had extra cute white ones. She even was the one to put my veil on when my bridesmaids disappeared into the venue. Her calm demeanor creates such a sense of security. We truly would’ve been lost without her. It’s pretty much just a bonus that her photos are insane.
