What the hell am I doing?
A visual dictionary of me figuring it the f out.
There were three things I knew for fact:
Thing one: I didn’t want to take portraits that felt flat.
Thing two: I really loved color and wanted to capture the sky and nature as I see it. Beautiful delicious color.
Thing three: I needed to master my tools. That meant learning how to use my camera, Lightroom and photoshop before charging people for anything. There were SO MANY photogs out there charging for garbage and I refused to be one of them.
Thing four (I lied four things) I was in the deep dredges of new motherhood and pregnant with Chloe. I had super horrible post partum with Wyatt and picked up my camera to help my soul out as we all healed. Somewhere between then and now I have grown a six figure business. It baffles me sometimes but holy moly I am proud.
So super pregs with chloe I decided to do a styled shoot. What is a styled shoot? It is pretty much just a bunch of pretty things put together to look like wedding photos without actually being a wedding. I still try to do one of these a year to mess around and meet new vendors, but although they can be super pretty- they are not actually a wedding.
