A Hyannisport Club Wedding day
Peak cape cod vibes & style, a classic Hyannis Port August Wedding
Ask and you shall receive! I am SO so thrilled to share this absolutely stunning Hyannisport Club Wedding Day for you all today.. With all the hype around Hyannis Port these last few weeks and everyone's collective obsession with all things Caroline Bassett Kennedy and JFK Jr. what better way to get some inspo for your Hyannis Port wedding day, then taking a peek into this gorgeous very tight knit community and how they celebrate their own. From the adorable tradition of hanging heart flags throughout the neighborhood celebrating one of their own getting married, to the absolutely wonderful, warm and welcoming staff at the Hyannisport Club. There is no wonder why this golf course was one of JFKâs favorites. (I mean if Vogue is covering it, come on guys. Peak beauty.) Also rumor has it, there was once a direct line from the club to the Oval Office. Wild. The rolling greens overlooking the beauty of Hyannispoint, are unbeatable, and sunset? Ohhhh the sunset. The light floods into the bar and the gorgeous deck. Illuminating everything with such a gorgeous warm glow. By far this spot is one of my favorites, and I am so happy to have been able to roam the hallways so full of history, capturing each little moment again this past summer.
The whole neighborhood of Hyannis Port, MA is so close knit and so ideallic. The homes are so full of character and Cape Cod charm, it is a Pinterest board come to life. This whole weekend was so warm and sunny, the perfect August weekend. With a first look and family portraits at Hyannisport Yacht Club, you have two great background options. First the gorgeous Hyannis Harbor, bright and delicious. Second, the Kennedy Compound. Yes you read that correctly. A quick walk on to the pier and you have maybe one of the most historic views in your portraits. The gorgeous home, always looking magically patriotic, frozen in time. Really just the best.
The couple exchanged vows at St. Andrews by the Sea, a quick walk up hill from the Hyannisport Club. The church which sits on a hill, is quaint and quiet- full of ocean air and tradition. Surrounded by loved ones they were married by the grooms fatherâs good friend. After their vows we drove through the golf course, taking portraits and enjoying a breath of quiet and salt air before partying the night away. The wedding was full of personal touches, Emily the bride is a talented artist and designed all of the stationary, invitations, and menusâĻpersonalizing a Tamborine for her groom, a special nod to his father. The blues and greens of the ocean and the dunes were reflected in their color palate, with gorgeous cascading hydrangeas on the head table. I am truly so excited to share all of these portraits with you all. A beautiful day start to finish.
xo, AM.
